Strawberry Cycle Event - 55, 28, 14, 12 mile rides from Histon, Cambridge

We’re delighted to announce that the Strawberry 50 Cycle Event is back this year and will take place on Sunday 6th September 2020.

Established in 2015, the Strawberry Cycle Event has become a successful mass participation sporting event with nearly 800 people taking part in 2017. The event is a fun and relaxed way to enjoy cycling the country roads of south west Cambridgeshire and is open to cyclists of all standards. Participants range from young adults to veterans, from occasional cyclists to keen club riders. Everyone cycles at their own speed or with friends and family.

Choose from one of two routes – 55 miles, or a shorter 28-mile route. The courses are well signposted with marshals on hand throughout the day. Water stops and food and drink are available for sale around the course, offering a chance to take a rest, pick up a snack and chat with other cyclists.

  • 2026 Tour de Mont Blanc

  • HIBC goes to the Alps

As Douglas Adams almost said, the Alps are big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mindbogglingly big they are. I mean, you may think it’s a long way up Chapel Hill, but that’s just peanuts to the Alps. Here’s our story…. Fourteen intrepid HIBC Alpinists arrived in Annecy on the evening of […]
