Coronavirus restrictions update 19/07/21 - HIBC

Following the latest changes in government coronavirus restrictions and British Cycling guidance, HIBC has updated its guidance for Sunday club rides and mid-week training rides. From Wednesday 19 May, we encourage rides to be in groups of 6 or 8, with a strict upper limit of 12.

Riders and ride coordinators should read the documents at the bottom of this page for advice and guidance. All rides will continue be advertised on the club’s Facebook page. The group size will be set by the ride coordinator and we ask that riders respect that decision. Riders should not turn up at the pump without first having signed up to a ride on the club’s Facebook page.

Up-to-date advice from British Cycling during coronavirus is available here.

May 2023 saw Geoff, Mike, Will and Dan spend a week cycling in Mallorca.  Why Mallorca?  Well apart from the obvious (the weather), the island has fantastic scenery, a mix of mountainous and flat cycling, and miles of smooth tarmac. We stayed in Puerta Pollensa at the Hotel Eolo.  It was well set up for […]
